On the coastline of the Corinthian Gulf and next to Xylokastro, at the boundary of the hotel’s plot, lies the beautiful forest of Pefkias. It consists mainly of Aleppo pines, however there are 83 different spieces of plants, some of which were planted at different period of times. The forest has a length of 1760m and a width of approximately 80-220m and it covers a total area of 243,5 acres. Its age is estimated to 140 years. It is a characteristic aesthetic forest and was a source of inspiration for our poet, Aggelos Sikelianos. The network of paths available makes it very popular for walkers and athletes. The scents of the plants, combined with the scents of the sea, create a unique ideal balance.
